A proven method of applying seed
Hydroseeding
Hydroseeding is a proven method of applying seed, mulch, fertiliser, water and a binding agent in one easy application to encourage the growth of assorted grasses and wild flowers. South Coast Hydroseeding can tailor their services to the needs of you, as the client, whilst still offering a fast and cost effective method of seed establishment.
South Coast Hydroseeding will first work with you to agree the best specification of mix for your project. The components will then be combined and placed into a hydroseeding machine where they are continually mixed with the water to achieve a thick slurry.
The hydroseeding process starts with blending a customised seed mix with; mulches, granular or liquid fertiliser and a tackifier into agitated water. This in turn creates a perfect growing medium for the chosen seed.
Once the slurry has been thoroughly mixed, it is then applied with pressure to the chosen surface for seed germination and turf development. Hydroseeding provides a finished look while retaining moisture as well as controlling dust and erosion.
South Coast Hydroseeding solutions are ideal for a diverse range of projects, including construction, road and rail, sports recreational facilities, habitat creation, coastal realignment, solar and wind farms, hillside stabilisation, wildfire repair, residential and commercial developments. There are no boundaries on the capabilities of this solution; Hydroseeding thrives in the more unusual and technically challenging projects.
